What is Explorist?
Explorist is a platform for travelers seeking personalized experience recommendations and redefining travel in light of the global pandemic. We offer a unique advantage where travelers can discover instant travel recommendations and have booking options on the same platform. We use an AI-powered recommendation system to determine traveler preferences and recommend experiences from a curated database of unique experiences.
What’s next?
We are working towards launching the app on iOS and Android. The team is currently building the database by reaching out to experience organizers to partner with on our platform. Our current market is focused on travelers in the San Francisco Bay Area looking for safe and unique experiences. In the long run, Explorist aims at flipping the current destination-centered travel platforms to experience-centric while giving our travelers what they want — personalized, unique, travel-worthy experiences with seamless booking.
What the team has and what they are looking for:
We have a great team but we are always looking for front-end engineers and data scientists. Additionally, we are looking for marketing and sales specialists to help us scale and build partnerships with experience organizers.
